||||||||||
| Maine West will present "The Magic of Michael Stein," a 90 minute benefit magic special, on Sunday, May 31. The show, which begins at 3 p.m. in the Maine West auditorium, will raise money to pay off the debts incurred while attempting to pass the tax referendum. Michael Stein '81, has been performing magic for ten years and has combined the classic effects of magic with some of his own original illusions to create this magical extravaganza. Assisting Michael on stage will be his sister Cathy Stein '79, his cousin Lori Stein '81, Mike Bashem '81, |
and Dave Ratner '82. The show's director and production assistant is Ron Wastyn '81 and the stage manager is Mike Curtis '81. The idea for the show was conceived by Principal James Coburn and Michael Stein. Maine West clubs and organizations will be selling tickets, making the show an entire school project. The tickets are $1 for students and senior citizens and $2 for adults. Michael will be performing several illusions made famous by Doug Henning and David Copperfield on their television magic specials. |
