Night on the Town Tomorrow for Juniors |

| The name of this year's Junior prom is "Night on the Town." The date is set for Saturday, May 16 at 8 p.m. The prom will be held in the Maine West auditorium and tickets are on sale in the bookstore for $8 per couple until the end of ninth period today. The dance will last until 11 p.m. This year's prom will feature the group Jazmin, who will be performing a variety of music. This includes some rock and soft music, along with a few surprises thrown in. |
The students in class council, guided by junior class president Julie Coburn, have been working on this prom since last fall, and are hoping that the dance will be a success. Members of class council are expected to bring baked goods from home on the morning of the prom during the time that decorations are being set up. The scenery of the prom will represent the center of a city at dusk. The prom will also have a photographer. The price is $5 for two 5x7's and four wallets. |
