High School Looks Better After Graduation

As another school year ends, we'd like to take a break from worrying about graduation and finals to reflect upon what high school does for students.

The whole concept of high school exists not only to provide an opportunity for educational growth. No one can honestly claim that all he remembers of high school is 16 tons of nightly homework, the major complaint of those presently in high school. Maybe it takes separation from high school, spending a year in college or at work, to appreciate the things that make high school great.
You'll remember the time you and a group of friends went out after a football game for a pizza, or the time you and your best friend walked into the middle of a "volunteer" session in gym class. Then the good times in class will come back to you - like the day you were allowed to discuss anything you wanted to.

High school may seem endless to you as you're waiting to get out, to get on with your life, but one day you will fondly remember your time at Maine West. Believe it or not, one day you may actually say, "High school wasn't that bad."
