Tennis Team Makes Effort
The Maine West girls' tennis team has had both wins and losses so far this season.

On Sept. 10 the Warrior varsity and junior varsity levels won against Waukegan West. Winning for the varsity in singles were Kathy Cooper, Debbie Lindeman. Stephanie Baker, and Pat Cook. Winning varsity doubles teams were Karen Peterson and Theresa Corcoran, and Mary Carlsen and Jill Kratochvil.
 Against Forest View on Sept. 24 the varsity team was once again victorious winning, 4-3, while the junior varsity team was defeated, 3-7. Winning for the varsity team were players Debbie Lindeman, Stephanie Baker, Pat Cook, and the doubles team of Donna Logisz and Chris Melling.

On Sept. 25, against Highland Park, both the varsity and junior varsity teams were defeated. The only win was from Debbie Lindeman in singles.
