Joys, Pains Entertained With Brothers, Sisters |
||||||||||
| By KERRY NOHELTY Brothers and sisters are often pains, and I, being one of seven children, sometimes wish that they were never born. But then there are the times, seldom as they are, when I'm glad that they are around. When you have as many brothers and sisters as I do, there is always someone to ask for advice. I can always turn to one of my older sisters and know that they will help me in any way that they can. I can also learn a lot from them from the different experiences that they have had. But then there are the times when I want to use the phone and I can't because it is already occupied by one of my sisters. And the times when Nature is calling and |
someone has locked herself in the bathroom so she can get ready for her date with no one bothering her. Sound familiar? Or how about when I want to go out on a Friday or Saturday night and I can't because I have to stay home and baby sit my younger brothers and sister. But younger brothers and sisters aren't all bad. They are good for some things, like you can always push most of your household chores off on to them. But it is fun to watch them grow up and go to school for the first time. When the holiday season rolls around, it's fun to watch them opening their presents and stuffing their faces with Easter candy. Having brothers and sisters isn't all that terrible. In fact, sometimes it is rather fun. |
