Swimmers Lose Tough One

Last Tuesday the girl tankers were not able to defeat their competitors from Riverside-Brookfield. They lost by a score of 106-70. Victorious once again was the J.V. team. They won, 89-79.

Heidi Eilken placed second with Lisa Carter close behind finishing third in the 200 IM. Eilken also took a second in the 100 backstroke. Deb Holler beat her own personal time in the 100 fly, and Liz Spielman did the same in the 500 freestyle.
On Oct. 10 the girls swam against and defeated Maine East, 104-66. In total, the team got 23 of their best times.

Kathy Biereis took a first in the 200 free and second in the 100 back. Kathy Kearns finished first in the 50 free and second in the 100 breaststroke. Holler, Cindy Koerber, Debbie Peters, and Veronica Smuk helped ring up the points with good placings and impressive times.
