| The Maine West girls' basketball teams played Glenbrook South on Feb. 18. The Freshman team won the game in the second overtime. No one scored in the first overtime, but West made two baskets to win the game, 28-24. The Freshman team is number 1 in conference and have a remaining game tomorrow at Maine South. | The J.V. lost the close battle, 49-41, and the conference record stands at 9-1 excluding Tuesday's game against Wheeling and Thursday's game against Waukegan East.
