Crews Mend Damage; Show Is Success

Last weekend, the Maine West Music Boosters presented The Sound of Music. Although damage had been done to the sets and stage area previous to the performance, the show was a great success.

Numerous students held respon-sibilities in order to stage the production. Lori Anderson '82 and Joe Marciniak '81 assisted Mr. Robert Norris as the stage managers. Julie Laughlin '82 was the assistant set designer to Mr. Norris. Mike Thompson '83 designed the lighting for the show, and Dawn Fridley '81 served as the rehearsal accompanist.
Those working on the costume and make-up crews were Jennifer Botte '81, Catherine Jordan '82, Laura Stein '81, Pam Peca '81, Lisa Ochal '82, Candy Braid '83, Joanne Hincke '83, Mary Martin '83, and Sarah Blew '83. In charge of lighting were Eric Krantz '83, Jim Bock '84, and Bob Kennedy '82. The sound crew members were Mark Kelsey '81 (chairman), Bob Adrahtas '82, and Rob Merkel '83.

Special acknowledgements go to Mr. Brian Lynch of the Candlelight Dinner Theatre, for his choreographical assistance; Robert Raczka '81, for the program cover design; and Sharon Weiszmann '83 for her assistance backstage on the nights of the productions.
