District 207 Music Departments Participate in Project NEW
Next year Maine North will close. Project NEW will help music students from Maine North get better acquainted with music students and directors from Maine West and Maine East.

There will be three concerts by the band, chorus, and orchestra. Students from all three schools will combine and form one band, and chorus, and one orchestra.

The band will have their concert on Thurs., Apr. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maine North auditorium. The directors for the show will be Mr. Paul Magnusson from Maine West, Mr. Ken Gelz from Maine East, and Mr. O.D. Primo from Maine North.
 The chorus concert will be held on Thurs., Apr. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maine West auditorium. The directors of the concert are Mr. Donald Lord from Maine West, Mrs. Tena Larsen from Maine East, and Mr. Jack Olander from Maine North.

The orchestra will hold its con-cert on Mon., Apr. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maine East auditorium. The directors for the concert are Mr. Tom Hageman from Maine East, Mr. Francis Vaupel from Maine West, and Mr. Angelo Rico from Maine North.

After each concert students will go to a reception held by the Music Booster Club. Each concert will be approximately one hour long and admission is free!
