Swimmers hope for third place

Tomorrow the Boy's Swim Team will meet Waukegan West, here at 7 p.m.
According to Head Coach John Carle, "We have several returning letterman." Returning seniors include John Goeke in the Individual Medley and breaststroke, Marc ter Horst in butterfly, and Jeff Waddell who is, "good all around" according to his coach.
Junior Ross Roel swims freestyle and backstroke, while Paul VonDestinon swims freestyle and breaststroke.

Looking forward to upcoming meets, Coach Carle added, "I think we will be more competitive with Maine South, Maine East, and Niles West. I also think we have a shot at third place in the conference."

The diving squad includes returning Juniors John Oland and Tony Kowalczyk. "We need more divers," said Coach Carle, "In fact, we'll take just about anyone who is interested in learning how to dive.
