Cast talks about musical
"Having the lead is a privilege. It's not only fun and exciting, but doing the best of my abilities and working with the rest of the cast will be the real test of the show's endurance," said Tony Bonilla '83.

Tony plays the lead in this year's musical, "How to Succeed in Business, Without Really Trying." J. Pierrepont Finch is an ambitious young man destined for greatness in the World Wide Wicket Company.

Judy Proctor '83 portrays Rosemary, the girl who loyally stands by him during his climb. Rosemary eventually wins him. Judy says, "Having the part is kind of scary, but mostly exciting."

Dennis Chartier '84 plays J.B. Biggley, President of the World Wide Wicket Company. J.B. is amazed at Finch's dedication. Dennis thinks having the role is a "challenging experience." But he also adds, "you have to work hard so you don't make a fool of yourself on stage."

The villain is portrayed by Pete Szwed '83. Bud Frump, is the boss' nephew. He is out of stop Finch's rise to power. Pete thinks being in the show is "interesting and exciting. It's something new and the people are fun."

Smitty, played by Karyn Stein '84 is Rosemary's best friend. She pushes Rosemary to keep after Finch, even when it seems hopeless. Karyn thinks "it's frightening and exciting" and she says she "loves working with the other people in the show."

Other characters in the show are Hedy LaRue, the sultry, voluptuous secretary, played by Jennifer Blomquist '83. Mr. Bratt, the head of the personnel department, is played by Bill Walters '83. Mary Luckritz '85 plays Miss Jones, Mr. Biggley's secretary.

Jenny Reese '84 plays Miss Krumholtz, secretary to Mr. Gatch, Bob Page '83. Drew Herman '84 plays Mr. Womper, the old‑fashioned chairman of the board and Paul Russel '85 plays the head of the mailroom, who gets promoted after 25 years of work.

Tony also says, "It's going to be a real fun show. So you all should come to it, May 5, 6 and 7 in the Auditorium."
