Letters Reprimand, Praise
Dear Editor,
I think there ought to be many more students attending the cross country meets of our schools actually had Pep club schools actually had Pep club buses going to some meets. Having people on the side cheering does make the runners put forth more effort and could make the difference between winning and losing a meet.

Dear Editor,
Congratulations Maine West for your friendliness to strangers, for your ability to make a newcomer feel he belongs, and for your kindness from students and teachers to a new student.
One year ago I came to this school from a different state, and, like many newcomers, I was quite lonely and doubtful of my surroundings. After just one week, due to the friendliness of the student body, I felt at ease.
This is a wonderful asset to a school and I am proud to be a part of it.

Dear Editor,
I am a junior and I think I represent most of the boys' feelings when I say that "too many girls wear too much makeup." I also think that some of the hair styles are ridiculous. I feel that when a girl comes to school she should dress casually ‑ not like a vampire.
If you would please print something in the newspaper about proper school dress, I'm sure some of these spooks will come back to life.
