Glenbrook High School
Meet Our Interim Rivals

Last year's Interim conference champions in golf and tennis were the Spartans of Glenbrook High school.

Glenbrook is a red‑brick, one story building with a separate wing for each subject. One hundred and forty teachers make up the teaching staff for 2,187 students who reside in the towns of Glenbrook and Northbrook.

Team teaching, in which two or three teachers conduct a large class of 50 to 80 students, a German band, literary club, and a girls' service club known as Gamma Beta Gamma are a few of the unusual activities at Glenbrook.

Glenbrook's Student Council meets three times a week and it is comprised of 13 standing committees. Some of the events sponsored by the Student Council are candy drives, a donkey basketball game, Ahmad Jamal concert, and a formal homecoming dance.

Other school events and traditions are the Senior Prom given by the Junior class, bermuda day, homecoming bonfire, street dance, turnabout dance, and an Ideal Girl award given each spring to an outstanding senior girl.
