GAA Starts

GAA has started off with a real bang this year under the supervision of Miss Kay Pierce, act ing head of the girls' physical education department. The sports and their heads are as follows: Monday and Wednesday, tennis, Jean Fischer; tennis team, Pat Stein; archery, Sue Lehman and Pam Page,; Tuesday and Thursday, hockey, Jan Virostko; and Friday, camping, Arlene Boyer and Pat Stein. New gym teachers lending their aid to GAA this year are Miss June Thompson, Mrs. Eileen Peters, and Miss Martha Peterson.

Lynn Holm '63, intramural board chairman; Sharon Fogelguist '62, GAA president; Mary Spoo '62, vice-president; and Diane Voltz '62, senior board member, attended a leadership workshop last Saturday, in Aurora, Illinois. Through various discussion groups they heard many helpful suggestions that will further the fun in GAA this year.
