GAA has started off with a real bang this year under the supervision of Miss Kay Pierce, act ing head of the girls' physical education department. The sports and their heads are as follows: Monday and Wednesday, tennis, Jean Fischer; tennis team, Pat Stein; archery, Sue Lehman and Pam Page,; Tuesday and Thursday, hockey, Jan Virostko; and Friday, camping, Arlene Boyer and Pat Stein. New gym teachers lending their aid to GAA this year are Miss June Thompson, Mrs. Eileen Peters, and Miss Martha Peterson. |
Lynn Holm '63, intramural board chairman; Sharon Fogelguist '62, GAA president; Mary Spoo '62, vice‑president; and Diane Voltz '62, senior board member, attended a leadership workshop last Saturday, in Aurora, Illinois. Through various discussion groups they heard many helpful suggestions that will further the fun in GAA this year. |
