Instructor Is Northerner

This year we have a teacher who comes straight from t h e "Land of Sky Blue Waters" teaching at Maine West. His hobbies are photography and camping, for which he has had plenty of opportunity.

He has taught science at Ivanhoe High school in Minnesota for the last seven years. Before teaching at Ivanhoe, he taught in Alaska for three years. He received his bachelor's degree at the University of Iowa. Then, at the University of Michigan, he acquired his master's degree.

When asked whether he had anything special that he liked or disliked about Maine West, he replied, "Maine West has very fine facilities and equipment. The teachers are all highly skilled, and the students in general seem to be quite cooperative."

He said that there wasn't anything in particular he disliked about Maine West. The traffic situation in Illinois, however, has him a little worried.

If you haven't guessed, the new teacher at Maine West is Mr. William Miller.
