M‑Club Books Comedy Divers

Something entirely new and different will be introduced to Maine West on April 27 when Dick Kimball and Hobie Billingsley, the world' s foremost acrobatic and comedy divers, will perform here under the sponsorship of the M‑club.

Mr. David Kennedy, sponsor of M‑club, revealed, "Due to the seating capacity of our pool, only a limited number of tickets can be sold. Students may obtain tickets from club members for $1.

Both of these men's careers have been outstanding. Hobie Billingsley lettered in both diving and gymnastics at Ohio State. He won the National AAU diving championship and was diving coach at the Pan American games held in Chicago in 1959. Currently he is the diving coach at Indiana university.

Dick Kimball lettered in diving and gymnastics at the University of Michigan. He was one of the country's best collegiate trampoline performers. In 1957, Dick won the National Collegiate diving championship. Presently, he is the diving coach at the University of Michigan.

In 1960 Kimball and Billingsley embarked on an around‑the-world good will tour for the United States State department. They have given over 1,000 performances throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Television appearances on "You Asked For It", "Toast of the Town", and "Sports Spectacular" have been highlights of their careers.
