Juniors Anticipate
'Evening in Athens'

"The glory that was Greece" will be experienced by the class of '63 when it stages its Junior Prom, "Evening in Athens," May 19, from 9-12 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Fabulous decorations in a Grecian motif, including ancient columns and climbing vines, are now being prepared under the careful direction of John Aegerter.

Continuous music for the long awaited event will be provided by the Lane Emory and Bill Heller bands, which were secured by Chuck Hawes. Between dances, guests may refresh themselves with punch from a 'champagne" fountain, cookies, and nut wafers arranged by Sue MacHattie.

Rich Giles, publicity chairman, has worked to insure that all will enjoy the Prom. His committee's artful posters may be seen on the bulletin boards throughout the halls.

Elegant invitations and bids: have been prepared under the supervision of Valerie Olson.             Keeping a close eye on preparation is Karen Strom, general chairman. "This will be the best Prom the class of '63 has ever had," Karen remarked excitedly. She is strongly backed in this belief by Mr. Larew Collister and Miss Dorothy Solheim, Junior class sponsors.

"Decorations will be erected on May 18 and 19, and all juniors are urged to come out and help to make your Prom a success," stressed Karen.

Proper dress for the evening will be formal for the girls and informal, meaning dark suits, for the boys. Corsages are in order.
