Maine West will participate in a Memorial day celebration, sponsored by the Des Plaines American Legion, to be presented on May 30, at the Des Plaines Memorial park.

Mr. Paul McKinnis, counselor of sophomore boys at West, and the Maine West Marching band, directed by Mr. Robert Kuite, will take part in the

celebration by delivering a Memorial day address and providing symbolic music, respectively.

Members of Des Plaines organizations will present wreaths at Memorial park to honor deceased soldiers and march in the Memorial day parade through downtown Des Plaines headed by the Warrior band.
