The annual Quill and Scroll banquet will be held on May 17, in Nielsen's restaurant at 6:30 p.m.

The banquet will be attended by the Westerner and Legend staffs and Mr. Gerald Royer's journalism classes.

The big event of the night is the announcement of the new members of Quill and Scroll. The new senior initiates are Judy Kassnel, Larry Lashway, Dave MacDona1d, Karen Patterson, Bev Pawelko, and Sue Pyron, from the Westerner staff. The juniors from journalism classes are Peg Demko, SuJane Schreyer, John Frana, Dan Humay, and Mike Welter.

The new members from the Legend staff are Gayle Bauman '62, Rick Geertz '63, Dave Jeffrey '63, and Valerie Olson '63. The editors from the Legend and Westerner staffs will disclose the names of the 1962-63 staffs.

The people attending the banquet will hear Mr. Wayne Wille, managing editor of Science and Mechanics, speak. Also in attendance will be Mr. Herman Rider, principal; Mr. John Clouser, Dean of students; and Mr. W. Ludolph, English department chairman.
