Mom's Tasks Are 'Trying' |
Why is it that the person who is so important to the healthy rearing of her children and to the smooth‑running of her household is honored only one day each year? A mother is a person whose patience and emotions are tried and broken many times, but who is always willing to disregard her own feelings to comfort and consider the feelings of her family. |
drying babies' tears and diapers, humoring dad's temper, healing a wounded heart or hand, picking up after dad and the children, mending the broken iron and doorbell, getting the shopping done wisely, plus the washing and ironing is quite a job. |
