Presenting an interesting talk will be Mr. John V. Leigh. Vocalist Michelle Albano '63, will conclude the entertainment. A dinner consisting of swiss steak, will be offered atop a table setting complete with colorful spring bonnets.

Concluding the social event will be the installation of officers for next year. They are juniors Jan Schweitzer, president; Maria Salazar, vice president; Cheryl Karnatz, secretary; Pat Niemz, treasurer; and Joyce Schumacker, InterClub council representative.

LATIN CLUB

Ending this year's Latin club activities will be a Roman banquet held at the home of their sponsor, Mrs. Valrie Hackett, in Park Ridge on Tuesday, May 29. There will be a musical comedy based on Julius Caesar presented by members of the club. Officers for next year will be elected at this banquet.

Forty Latin students attended Chicago Latin day held at the Chicago Natural History museum last Saturday. They traveled by chartered bus to see a Greek drama entitled The Birds by Aristophones.

"This trip was one of the high points in this year's club activities," related Mrs. Hackett. "I was very happy to see such a big turn out."

As a preview to their trip, Mrs. Catherine Nissim, Latin teacher from Maine East, gave the Latinites a lecture on Greek drama. Mrs. Nissim was born in Greece and has lived in the United States for only four years.
