Show Flaunts Paris Theme

'Chez Maine West,' the annual home economics fashion show, will be given on May 25, from 8 to 10 p.m. in the auditorium. It will feature 150 ensembles from all Clothing II classes on a Parisian theme," according to Miss Willa Mitchell, home economics teacher.

Admission is free.

Both the art and music departments are combining their efforts with the home economics department in the presentation of the show. Mrs. Bonnie Stone, art teacher, will help provide the background and lighting effects; Mrs. Mildred Heidorn, music instructor, and the orchestra will musically accompany the show; and Mr. Wilbur Schafer, vocal instructor, will present the combined girls' chorus.

Commentating during the presentation will be Joan Albertson '63, Barb Conroy '64, Jeanette Erickson '65, Pat Powers '63, and Donna Schaller '62. These girls were chosen from about 10 girls, and were judged on voice quality and speech audibility.

Members of the M‑club will provide escorts for the show, which will include several children's outfits modeled by brothers and sisters of the clothing students.
