Pictured on this page are 10 Maine West students who will soon be graduating. During their years at Maine West, all ten of these seniors have had different interests and have been involved in different activities. Some have been active in various clubs . . . others have worked on student publications many are scholastic leaders a couple have participated in sports most have been closely connected with the Student or Class council. All, however, have one thing in common. During their years at Maine West, all have been 'leaders of their class.

These are the ones who in some way have exhibited that indefinite quality known as "leadership." No one can say for sure exactly what goes into leadership, but whatever it is, these people have it. They have been the ones who devoted much of their time and energy to making the class of '62 the successful venture it was. There were others, to be sure. But we feel that these are most representative. Therefore, the Westerner staff takes pride in designating these 10 as the most active seniors.
