Season Ends Golf, Tennis

Finishing what was its most successful season to date, Maine West's varsity golf squad finished second in the Interim Conference meet last week behind undefeated Glenbrook. The duffers came up with a 9-4 record (8-2 in conference) this year, with the aid of just two lettermen, Tim Richards and Doug Seagren. Others contributing to the effort were Ken Miller, Mike Green, and Chuck Hughes.

Maine West's tennis team ended the 1962 season last week as they placed eighth in the Interim Conference meet. Earlier, the racketmen tied for sixth place in the district meet. No Warriors qualified for the state meet.
