Summer School To Start June 11

The third session of summer school will begin Monday, June Ill, at 8 am. This session will be divided into two terms; the first term from June 11 until July 6, and the second term beginning on July 9 and concluding August 3.

The daily schedule will be as follows: first period-8:00 to 9:25 a.m.; second period- 9:30 to 10:55 a.m.; and third period -11:00 to 12:30 p.m.

General registration fee is $5. This fee is not refundable and will be credited on the tuition of one course costing $10 or more. Tuition for a course granting one‑half of a credit will be $15; for a one credit course $30, and for a one and one half credit course $45. A special deposit of $5 must be made by students taking a shop course. This deposit will be refunded at the end of the session if all the materials have been paid for by the student.

Other courses with special tuition fees are listed on the 1962 Summer School calendar which can be obtained in the Personnel office.

Registration and tuition payments may be made in the Personnel office any day until June 11. A minimum of one‑half the tuition must be paid at the time of registration; no student will be admitted to class before tuition is paid in full.

Regular attendance is very important in summer school since one day is equal to approximately one week during the regular school year. Students will not be excused for vacation, and unauthorized absences will cause the student to be dropped from the course with no refund of tuition.

School regulations pertaining to smoking, dress, and conduct will be in force throughout the summer session.

Transportation to the school will be provided by the United Motor Coach company. Check for the schedule or call the bus company.
