Dancers Look To Sat. Nite

The second annual Maine West Homecoming festivities will be climaxed at the Homecoming dance, "Rhetorical Romp," which will be held tomorrow night, Oct. 21, in the cafeteria from 8:30 to 11:30. The presentation of the Homecoming queen and her court of four will be the highlight of the evening.

The Senior class has planned and will present the dance under the direction of Mrs. Judith Harding and Mr. John Hugh, Senior class sponsors. The committees are headed by seniors Marilyn Retzlaff, decorations; Mary Anna Matteson, refreshments; Joseph Mitchell, publicity; and Betty Thiet, secretary, and Bev Pawelko, treasurer, guests of honor. Gretchen Rider, Student Council public relations committee chairman, sent invitations to the alumni.

Marilyn revealed, "The decorations for this year's dance will be based on the theme of literature and will be carried out in pink, red, and white. Everyone is invited to come out Saturday and help."

The proper dress for the dance will be Sunday dress for the girls and suits and ties for the boys. Corsages are not in order.

Music for the dance will be provided by the Bell Tones, one of our school combos.

Today is the last day tickets can be purchased. The tickets are $1.50 per couple and no tickets will be sold at the door.
