Let's Make Homecoming Big

Homecoming? What is Homecoming if it's held away from your own school? Many students give this as their excuse for not attending Homecoming. Yet, how can we prove that we do want or deserve a fieldhouse and a football field unless we show our school spirit by going to the games? Going just to take up space won't help either. Everyone must join in the cheers and let the team know you're there.

Another important part of Homecoming festivities is building the floats. Many are needed for this lob, either for your club or your class.

Homecoming is not complete until the big dance with the crowning of the queen and presentation of her court. Some of the boys don't seem to think so. Are they scared of girls, or do they just forget their existance? It's time to quit eyeing that girl next to you in English and ask her to the dance. Not only will she probably love to go, but you both will have fun.
