"College Night" will be presented on November 14 by the Maine West Parent‑Teacher council at 8 p.m. in the auditorium according to Mr. Alfred Cochrane, career counselor.
"Days of Confusion: The College Story," a special film, will be the feature of the evening. This film is the story of a young man and the problems he encounters as he plans his college career. After the film there will be a short question and answer period with Mr. Cochrane answering questions parents may wish to ask.

"This presentation should be very helpful," added Mr. Cochrane, "to the parents of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are thinking about attending college in the near future. The film is recommended for the parents of seniors who will attend college next year also."
Another "College Night" is being planned for December. Its purpose will be to let interested students speak directly to representatives from schools that they would like to attend after graduation. During this time students will also be able to request pamphlets pertaining directly to information about subjects and college life through the representatives.
