JV's Want Final Victory

"Beat Prospect" is the cry that has been ringing out in the JV football locker room the past week. The jayvees will try to increase their conference record to 3-1 when they meet the Knights in the curtain raiser tonight at 6 p.m.

East Leyden was the last victim as the jayvees rolled over them 21-6. Rick DeKreek ran some 40 yards on a double reverse, fooling many of the Eagles as he bulled, side stepped, and faked his way to the end zone for a TD. Ken Pinzke and Paul Micko smashed up the middle for the other two touchdowns. Because of the sloppy playing conditions, many wedges were run and the ball was kept mostly on the ground.
