'62 Presents 'Our Town'

Maine West's Senior class will present its annual fall play entitled Our Town in the auditorium tonight and tomorrow night.

The play is set in Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, as Joe Mitchell, playing the part of the stage manager, will fully describe.

Kathy O'Grady and Gary Schlieckert play the parts of Emily Webb and George Gibbs around whom the play centers.

Also during the course of the play, we shall see Doctor and Mrs. Gibbs played by Joe Waters and Joy Staller, and Mr. and Mrs. Webb played by Ken Cornelius and Marie Rozenboom. Mr. Webb is the editor of the local paper and the part of the local newsboy, Joe Crowell Jr., is played by Bob Means.

Among the many other characters in the play is Professor Willard (Tom Kuersten) who will give a sketch of the past events of Grovers Corners. The local milkman, Howie Newsome, is played by Phil Wankat. Simon Stimson (Jon Evertson,) the choir director, is the most talked about man in town, and Mrs. Soames (Marjorie Fedder) seems to be the most talkative person in town. Other characters who will be seen during the play are Rebecca Gibbs (Sue Brinkman), Wally Webb (Thomas O'Grady), Constable Warren (Bob Engel), Si Cronwell (David O'Grady), Sam Craig (Jim Lunetto), and Joe Stoddard, the town undertaker, Burgess Reeves.
