It's Just A Few Days Off

That much longed for vacation has almost arrived. Yes, Thanksgiving vacation is nearly here!

Even though most of us do not usually plan what we are going to do on our few days of freedom and pleasure, some students have made up their minds already. We have overheard that Diane Hrdlicka and Judy Kasanda '63, plan to stick to their own neighborhood, while Jean Ekendahl '63, has decided to finally start on her biology collection which was due three weeks ago.

Riding a buffalo across the barren plains is unheard of today, but Carol Eustice '62, has her heart set on it! History seems to be the cause of this since the class is now studying the original Americans, the Indians.

With the spirit of the early pioneer and the secret ambition of many of the Maine West boys, Vaughn Vogt '62, is planning to clean his rifle so he can go scouting for a tom turkey.

No matter how you plan to celebrate your Thanksgiving vacation, it's sure to be a happy one ‑ especially if you remember to be thankful.
