College Night Staged Here December 5

Representatives from approximately 100 colleges will be at Maine West on December 5, Tuesday, from 7:15 to 10 p.m. During this time the representatives will talk to the students and their parents, answering any questions about their respective colleges.

Since there will be no college night at Maine East, both schools will take part in the program at West this year. To facilitate handling of the program, the evening has been divided into four periods. A schedule will run with first period, 7:15 to 8 p.m.; second, 8:05 to 8:35; third, 8:40 to 9:10; and fourth, 9:15 to 10.

Interested seniors are advised to select three colleges that they would like to learn more about. They will then be given schedules that tell which periods they should go to the particular college representatives. During the fourth period, seniors may visit any college representative.

Lower Classes Invited

"Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors may visit any college conference during any period," emphasized Mr. Alfred Cochrane, career counselor. "This is a good opportunity," he continued, "for students and parents to gain a better understanding of the colleges in which the students show an interest."
