Electing officers, attending discussion groups, and formulating new ideas are the main purposes of the Northeast-Northwest District convention to be held Saturday, November 18, at Thornridge High school in Dolton, Illinois.

Maine West will be well‑represented at the convention. Carol Thompson '63, is a candidate for the first vice‑presidency of the Northeast‑Northwest district. The "Bell Tones," a Maine West dance band, will campaign for Carol at the convention.

Frank Vaia '63, has been chosen by the officers of the district to lead a discussion group at the convention.
