Heading this year's varsity wrestling squad are five returning lettermen, Danney Hansen 120, Bob Jonas 112, Tom Lenhart 103, Ray Leonardson 165, and Pedro Martinez 127.

"This year's squad," asserted head coach Richard Carlini, "is lacking in depth, but with five returning lettermen, some good upcoming juniors, plenty of hard work, and extra needed help from assistant coach Suffield, we will give Maine West good representation in the Interim conference."

The grapplers open against Barrington at 7 p.m. this evening at home. All meets on Fridays are held at 7 p.m., other weekdays at 4:15 p.m. and Saturdays at 2 p.m.
