'Snowflakes by Starlight'
Name of Christmas Formal

"Snowflakes by Starlight" is this year's name for the annual Boys' Club Christmas formal, December 28 from 8:30 to 11:30. The highlight of the dance will be the crowning of a senior queen and a court consisting of girls elected from each of the four classes. The final balloting for queen and court nominees will take place in homeroom the week of December 18. The Homecoming queen and members of her court are ineligible to reign.

Furnishing the music for the formal will be the Paul Winter's band which is widely reputed in college circles across the nation and is even now gaining fame at the high school level. This band placed first to the Jazz Festival at the Northwestern Winter Carnival, There is a possibility of having a special jazz session during the course of the dance.

Tickets are on sale in the cafeteria for $2 per couple. Alumni planning to attend this affair may purchase tickets from Mr. Ralph Caprio, Boys' club sponsor.

Since "Snowflake by Starlight" is formal, corsages are in order, and boys should wear dark suits. According to Mr. Caprio, "It will be the most beautifully decorated Christmas formal ever."

Committee chairmen for the dance are Randy Burmeister '63, general chairman; Craig Ehlen '64, publicity; Pat Kent '62, refreshments; Bob Young '63, decorations.
