From the heavens
So clear and bright,
Comes forth a star
To guide the night.

Glistening and gleaming
To show the way,
To the blessed child
Lying in the hay.

It sparkles with light
So majestically,
Telling its tale
To the shepards three.

The curtain of stars
Split like a tent,
For the ray of light
To Bethlehem is bent.

A voice was heard
From within the ray,
"To you a Savior
Is born this day.

"Follow the star
Almighty three,
To the humble manger
Where you will see.

The son of Mary
In swaddling clothes
To give His life
The way He chose.

The heavens, the world,
Will truly say,
"To you a Savior
Is born this day."
