Friday, February 9, is a day of leisure for the students here at Maine West. While we're out having fun, the teachers will be in school for their annual institute day which will be held here from 9 am, to 3 p.m.
In order to keep the teachers awake and happy, coffee and rolls will be served from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. Berness C. Ross, organist from Maine East, will play morning music to eat by!
Dr. Balir Plimpton will call the meeting to order at 9 am., and Dr. John Paul Stafford, pastor of the Rogers Park Methodist

Church, will take over the first segment of the morning program. Being an experienced lecturer, Dr. Stafford will inspire everyone with his talk on "The Spur of the Moment."
The second segment will feature Dr. Arthur W. Foshay, executive director of Horace Mann Lincoln Institute of the school of Experimentation at Columbia University Teachers' college. He is the past president of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and a director of the Bureau of Educational Research at Ohio State university. Dr. Foshay's topic of discussion will be announced at a later date.
