Warriors to Show Talents And Spirit
in '62 V-Show

"Variety show is a show given by the students, for the students," declared Mr. Garth Boyer, faculty advisor.

Since the V‑show lacks a theme this year, the field is wide open for creative acts. Dancing, singing, drama, and humorous skits are examples of those to be judged. Take advantage of this opportunity to release your talents in the friendly atmosphere of your classmates.

Joyce McGarvey, director, remarked, "I hope Maine West students will keep the traditional spirit and enthusiasm of the annual V‑show. We have lots of talent among the Warriors and all we need is to display it. I think the problem this year is that the students actually lack creativity. There are so many clever and gimmicky, yet talented things that could be done. We all want  do sit back, enjoy, and criticize a good V‑show but we don't want to put in our time and effort. This is a disgraceful thing to say about Maine West Warriors, but isn't it true? Now let's get on the ball! If we fail in this, we not only penalize ourselves, but we disappoint the whole Maine Township."
