Did You Stop and Think? |
The subject of bringing a foreign exchange student to Maine West was one of the biggest issues in Student Council. The decision was brought before us, the student body. What did we do with this responsibility? |
On January 22‑23, when we received our ballots, did we stop and think before we put our X in the little box? The responsibility that we assumed as we received the ballot should have made us stop and think. Had we investigated the idea, thought about it, and then voted? An opinion of America rested in our vote. If an exchange student goes home with a bad opinion of America will it be our fault? |
