Leah Forcell '64, has recently been named as the recipient of a $50 award for her work on the Fall Fashion board of a prominent department store.

Activities on the board, contributions to this group, and the quality of participation in the various aspects of her position were the factors which determined the receiver of the award. Points were awarded with the merit of achievement.

Specific duties of a fashion board member include modeling and selling merchandise effectively and intelligently, and a knowledge of fashion, clothing construction, and cost.

Leah has been a student in the beginning home economics course and is currently enrolled in the advanced clothing class under the direction of Miss Wilma Mitchell.
