GAA will host Maine West's first GAA conference, Friday, February 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eleven area schools are participating in the sports play‑day.

Another GAA Playnite is planned for February 8, 7‑9 p.m., in C‑wing gym and the pool.

The GAA All-stars beat the faculty 9-7 in volleyball for the first time in two years Tuesday, January 16. The All-stars,

consisting of Sharon Fogelquist '62, Lynn Holm '63, Kem Lenke '63, Pat Stein '63, Fran Toay '63, and Maria Salazar '63, won their first game against the faculty 13-9 to win the tournament 2-0.

For all those who wish to participate, basketball has now started on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will continue through the quarter.
