Tonight the warrior gymnasts match muscles with Prospect at 7 p.m. in B‑wing gym. The Knights are rated as tough state competition. Although the Warriors now have a 2‑5 record, they hope to finish with a .500 mark for the season.
The musclemen tromped Waukegan last Friday, ending a disheartening four‑meet losing streak. The Warriors outperformed their opponents in all events except high‑bar. They gained five out of a possible six first places.
Tom Janssens '62, executing an excellent routine on the trampoline, captured first place. Sal DeFalco '62, walked away with first place on both the side-horse and still rings. Dave Scully '62, and Gerry Peterson '63, teamed up on the parallel bars to capture first and second places,

respectively. Bill Downing '62, won his seventh first place of the season in tumbling to continue his undefeated string.
The gymnasts against West Leyden, Friday, January 12, dropped a close battle 69 1/2 - 64 1/4. The Warriors were able to gain only two firsts as Sal De Falco out‑performed his competition on the side‑horse, and Bill Downing received his usual first in tumbling.
On Tuesday, January 9, the musclemen lost their 1962 premier to Proviso West, 78-54. This time Tom Janssens, on trampoline, also brought a first to match Downing's. The Warriors took a 77-55 defeat in the last two meets of 1961 at the hands of Glenbard West and Niles East.
