Official presentation of the 61‑62 president and secretary of Student Council will take place at the annual Election Jitney tomorrow night. This is not a date affair.
Tickets are still on sale for 25 cents but will not be sold at the door. The dance will be from 8‑10:30. The Bell Tones will play and school clothes will be the proper dress.
Student Council members will attend a banquet before the Jitney. They will be the first to know who the president‑elect and secretary‑elect are.
Election Activities
After a week of hectic campaigning, Art Behn, Nancy Merret, Tom Prochaska, and Pat Ritter are anxiously awaiting the election results.

Monday morning weary students passed out the first tags. Hall skits before school and combos playing in the gyms brightened the activities. Campaign headquarters were busy from the weekend until Tuesday night.
At two assemblies the candidates were presented to the student body for a second time, and gave speeches and comedy skits. Bruce Johns '62, and Marilyn Manny '62, explained the duties and qualifications for the offices which they now hold.
Because of her late decision to run, Nancy Merret was not introduced as a candidate in the last issue of the Westerner.
Voting will continue after school until 4. The Student Council urges all registered students to vote if they have not yet done so.
