Under the direction of Miss Anne Lauterbach, English teacher, the creative writing classes are working on the annual all‑school publication the Westwords.

The Westwords will go on sale March 12. The price will be 50 cents a copy. This year, instead of being mimeographed, it will be printed so the students will get a better publication at the same price. Representatives will go to all the English classes to take orders for the publication.

Westwords is an anthology of original student writing edited by the creative writing classes.

The directing editors are seniors: Bev Pawelko, editor; Sue Brinkman, poetry; Vicki Webster fiction; Nancy Shields, essay; Scott Ross, cover design; Kristine Hatfield, publicity; and Jim Lunetto, business manager.
