The Midwinter Sport's banquet will be held on March 27 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. All boys who went out for a winter sport and their parents will be guests of honor.

Anyone may attend the banquet. The dinner will be served in the cafeteria by Mrs. Gloria Saul, school dietician. After everyone has eaten, the coaches of all the teams will be introduced. Everyone will then go to the auditorium for the presentation of the awards.

The Maine West Dad's club is the sponsor for this program and the awards that are given. Mr. Ken E. Olson, athletic director at Maine West, comments, "It is always a good program, and the banquet is the crowning event of the winter season. The coaches are looking forward to the recognition of the athletes."

Members from the basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, and swimming teams will be present. The boys from each team who have earned their letter or numerals will be presented also.

The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Captain and the Most Valuable Player awards.
