Hop Nets $25

CARE week demonstrated the growing school spirit and the unselfishness of Maine students to give assistance when aid is sought. An example of this is the "Mistletoe Hop."

The students in charge of the "Hop," which was held at the O'Hare Air Force base through the courtesy of base officials, presented the Student Council with $25 for the needy school in Columbia, South America.

Members of the "Hop" committee were Glen Robinson. Ann Evertson, Margaret Hill, Pat Kolton, Vicki Kolton, Diane Lombardi, Guy Polito, Glenn Robinson, and Walter Zelez. Colonel Perrin, Airforce officer, and Mr. Ralph Caprio, freshman Counsellor and teacher, assisted with the party plans.
