Spring Fever Is In the Air |
"Spring is the time of year when a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love." This love includes cars, sports, and the outdoors; girls are forgotten. |
Actually, the spring season's love statistics show a sharp decline in infatuations, mad crushes, uncontrollable winking, heart flip‑flops, and general palpitations. The reason for this decline is that boys' minds are filled with thoughts like, "who made the most home runs at practice last night," or "Dick's shooting in the 80's this season," or even "the Easter bunny will be here soon; I have to start coloring some eggs." |
