GAA concluded the third quarter by having an all‑star vs faculty basketball game. The faculty won 28‑21. Members of the all‑star team included Mary Lou Blocker '64, Lynn Holm '63, Mary Lynn Mayer '63, and Lee Winski '66.

GAA gymnastics also came to a close with a gymnastics meet. The winning students were trampoline, Pat Perkins '65; vaulting, Janet Hargrave '65; balance beam, Janet Hargrave '65; tumbling, Marilyn Jenks '65; and unevens, Sue McKoveck '66.

GAA will start the fourth quarter with four new activities. On Fridays Pat Vogel '64, will work with Miss Barbara Bovenmyer to organize camping. Sue Lehman '63, and Miss Corrine Clark will work together on Mondays and Wednesdays conducting golf. Softball will be under the direction of Marilyn Jenks '65, and Miss Bovenmyer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Swimming will be held on Mondays and Fridays and will be led by Sandy Patton '65, and Miss June Thompson.
