West Hosts Pancake Day
Hot and hefty pancakes, heaped high, covered with butter, and smothered with syrup, mmmm good.
If pancakes please your palate, the Lion's club Pancake day is your type of dish. Tomorrow at 7 a.m. the doors of West's cafeteria will open to hundreds of hungry humans and will remain upen until 3 p.m.
Lion's Club Finances Sidewalk
Last year the Lion's club financed the construction of a sidewalk from Wolf road to the student parking lot on Oakton street. The Lion's club offered Student Council the profits from the pancake day to help pay for the sidewalk. It was originally figured that the sidewalk would be financed from the profits of three pancake days, one per year; however, the pancakes sold so well last year that if this year's profit measures up to last year's, the debt will be paid.
