Wildkits Next For Ovalmen

The Warrior track team will move outdoors where they will face the Evanston Wildkits on April 10 in their first meet, which will be at Maine's track.

The cindermen defeated Crystal Lake's Tigers March 26 by a slim score of 49‑42. Held at Crystal Lake, this was the last indoor dual meet of the season.

Bob Tatge and Bruce Congalton took a first and second, respectively, in the high hurdles. In the low hurdles their place order was reversed. Leroy Schlegel took a second in the 50-yard dash. Chip Krainik and Jack Morgan placed second and third

in the 440-yard dash. Phil Dindinger and Herm Zelk copped first and second in the pole vault. Paul Neuman managed a third in the high jump.

Senior John Schneider and sophomore Bill Rosenburgh broke Crystal Lake's fieldhouse records. Schneider ran a 4:45.8 mile to accomplish his feat, while Rosenburgh threw the shot 49 feet, 10 inches to set his record.

The scoring was one event short because Crystal Lake does not have a broad‑jump pit.
